LAW 684: Campaign Finance and Elections

This course explores constitutional, statutory, and political aspects of the American electoral system, examining campaign finance, the role of political parties, and redistricting. Topics addressed include the Federal Election Campaign Act, first amendment limits on campaign finance regulation, first amendment and associational issues related to political parties, and the equal protection clause as it applies to redistricting.
