LAW 831: Comparative Constitutional Law

This course will focus on different approaches to the protection of individual rights. The course will examine the roles of bills of rights, treaties and other sources of protection of individuals from the acts of their own governments, combining theory and experience to examine both judicial and non-judicial roles in the enforcement of rights in a variety of cultures. [2 credit hours]
