LAW 672: Empirical Methods for Legal Analysis

This course will provide students with an understanding of the quantitative tools commonly used in public policy decisions, legal decisions, and legal scholarship. These tools will be used to critically evaluate empirical research and to conduct independent quantitative research. Emphasis will be placed on applications and interpretation of quantitative values rather than on the mechanics of deriving the values. [3 credit hours]
