LAW 863: Child Welfare Law and Policy

This course will examine the history and development of current laws and policies related to child welfare in America. It will focus heavily on legislation, but will also include discussion of relevant case law. Additionally, it will incorporate materials from other disciplines, such as history, sociology, and education. [2 credit hours]
