David Tarpley has spent his entire legal career with the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee, providing consumer advocacy services, addressing housing law, consumer protection -- including state and federal consumer credit regulations, the Uniform Commercial Code, deceptive trade practices, contract disputes, real property and debtor protection. He has served as a lecturer, clinic instructor and adjunct professor on Vanderbilt's law faculty since 1986. He currently teaches Consumer Credit Protection.
