Roger Conner is director of the Advocacy Project at Vanderbilt Law School, an interdisciplinary effort that involves research, teaching and training on advocacy for public policy change. Over the last three decades, he has been a successful lobbyist, lawyer, organizer and facilitator of multi-party conflict resolution processes. A social entrepreneur, he has also built non-profit organizations that address environmental protection, immigration reform and community safety, and help political leaders from left and right search for common ground. In addition to the Advocacy Project, Professor Conner currently coordinates a VULS project funded by the New York-based Andrus Family Fund to provide technical assistance and training for non-profit organizations in the areas of foster care for older youth and community conflict resolution.

Professor Conner teaches Non-Litigation Strategies for Social and Policy Change.
