Legal Writing Faculty

In Vanderbilt’s Legal Writing Program, first-year students learn to conduct legal research and develop their legal writing skills by helping fictional clients solve legal problems. The two-semester program teaches students the fundamentals of conducting legal research using print and electronic versions of administrative regulations, case law, common law, secondary sources and statutes, as well as the proper organization, structures and characteristics of written legal analysis and advocacy.
