The 2007 Monsanto Lecture, "Ten Half-Truths about Tort Law," was delivered by Associate Dean for Research John Goldberg on March 29, 2007. The  Monsanto Lecture is an endowed  lecture given each year by a distinguished torts scholar at the Valparaiso University School of Law. Dean Goldberg’s lecture also appears as an article in the Valparaiso Law Review. He is currently working on an advanced primer on tort law and theory with co-author Benjamin Zipursky of Fordham University Law School, to be published by Oxford University Press.
