Summer 2005: Studied Spanish in Cuernavaca, Mexico

Chose Vanderbilt because: “I wanted to attend a top law school where the students enjoy their experience. I was confident that the academic experience at any number of schools would be roughly equivalent, but it seemed like I would be able to enjoy learning at Vanderbilt. That has definitely been true.”

Student organizations/activities: VULS Ambassadors, Alumni Relations (1L rep); Legal Aid Society, 1L Public Interest Stipend Fund Auction Representative; Vanderbilt Trial Advocacy Society

Before law school: Staffed the opening of President Bill Clinton’s post-presidential library; worked for political campaigns

On the building: “Our facility is very nice, and that’s actually pretty important. You will spend a lot of time within the walls of the law school building, and it’s important that all of that time passes in a comfortable, well-equipped, newly-renovated building.”
