The Asian-Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA) provides a political forum for Asian students preparing to enter the international legal community. It serves as a unified voice to address the growing individual and cultural concerns of Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Pacific Islander students at Vanderbilt Law School.

Members attend the annual ALSA national conference and disseminate information regarding minority opportunities within the United States and Asia. The group also provides extensive recruitment and support services to encourage cultural identity and increase political awareness.
