The VTAS is a student group dedicated to enhancing the educational experience in the area of trial practice. By developing a program of professional development, community service, social interaction and competitive exercises, the VTAS strives to be a full-service student organization. We believe in the fundamental qualification of all Vanderbilt Law students to participate in any VTAS activity and recognize no differentiation between our members on the basis of class standing, race, gender, national origin or political affiliation.

We are open to all students interested in furthering the educational opportunities in trial advocacy at VULS. 1998-99 was our first year in action and we were able to establish a national mock trial team, an intramural mock trial competition, and a series of developmental panels focused on our member needs.
