Vanderbilt University International Justice Mission

VUIJM is a joint law school and undergraduate organization that works to raise awareness in the Vanderbilt community of the human rights violations that occur all over the world and to inform students on how to get involved in fighting such injustices. VUIJM also exists to support the work of the International Justice Mission via various means. International Justice Mission is a human rights agency that secures justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression. IJM lawyers, investigators and aftercare professionals work with local officials to ensure immediate victim rescue and aftercare, to prosecute perpetrators and to promote functioning public justice systems.
